Political Parties
The Bahamas has a two-party system, which means that there are two dominant political parties - The Progressive Libral Party (PLP) and the Free National Movement (FNM). It is difficult to achieve electoral success under the banner of any other party. A notable third party is the Democratic National Alliance (DNA).
